Bridge Clubs Re-Opening??

With Covid cases again on the rise, it will be interesting to see how many people turn out for F2F bridge at the clubs which are re-opening. Hopefully, it will be lots, as online bridge, as convenient as it is, is just not the same. Good luck to all!

In China, we regularly play F2F bridge at clubs and take bridge matches in most areas and at almost all the year.

Hi Paul,

Much thanks to you for not only telling it like it is, but, if anything, underestimating the overwhelming superiority that ftof bridge enjoys over the almost everything irritating about online bridge. Of course with, at least to me, of only the possibility of being cheated, whether I was or not, stands alone to be a culprit beyond belief.

Although I shouldn’t be condemning online bridge that strongly, to not voice this opinion might slow the process back to it, when this off-the-charts horrible pandemic is finally and completely over.

Always thanks for your well considered judgment and you should be commended for speaking up. Also, with only a guess, rather than proof available, it seems that online bridge is only thought a reasonable to good substitute for the real game, seems to be ones who are at least financially connected with it, although for me to say so (although I think it) perhaps is not proper and, if so, I sincerely apologize, but not without 100% agreeing with your concept.
